Gearing up for Fall!

Hello and welcome to the Community Connections blog.

We are working really hard and getting ready for our fall schedule. In September, we will return to our work at the Palo Alto Zoo and Menlo College (they were both on hiatus for the summer). Our participants will also start their forth year of classes at the Community School of Music and Art. We will be taking Marimba classes as well as the art classes.

The program features the Mayor of Palo Alto, Sid Espinosa and two Abilities United participants. We also show videos of our work out in the community.

In our educational series, the Red Cross will be presenting a lecture on Emergency Preparedness to our participants.

Another fall event is our Agency wide Aquathon, to take place on Saturday September 10. It should be a really fun event again this year.
