Hello Everyone!
Starting this monday, our Community Connections program will be partnering up with the College of Adaptive Arts in Redwood City.
Our participants will be taking a ceramics class on monday mornings. They will be joining other members of the community in this class and it promises to be a lot of fun.
We will continue our art and music classes at the Community School of Music And Art in Mountain View as well as the ceramics class at CAA.
In addition to CAA, we also have started two new volunteer work sites. Last friday we began working at the Hiller Aviation Museum in Redwood City. We clean the exhibits, work around the planes and perform other important tasks. It's a lot of work but we love learning more about airplanes and aviation.
We also started working at Foothills Park in Los Altos. We help the park rangers with a variety of jobs including cleaning the welcoming building, landscaping and general park cleanup. It will be wonderful to work out in the park as we move into spring.
February is a very busy month for Community Connections but we are loving every minute of it!
